We have had a very busy morning here in St Michael's P.S as we had lots of prizes from our competitions to give out. We started our assembly with Mrs. Dodgson announcing the winners of the Literacy Writing Competition, well done to: Alice P1, Niamh P2, Rian P3
, Neasa P4, Lauren P5
, Tomas P6 and Minka P7. The standard of entries was so high, many others were commended for their efforts also!
Special recognition went to Natan P1, Katya P2, Ava P3, Sadie P4, Toma P5, Emilis P6 and Aiste P7 for overall progress in Literacy in term 1.
Prizes were also awarded to the winners of our newspaper competition. Well done to the school council and Mrs Lee for organising and choosing the winners.
Finally, congratulations to our winning House, Marita Conlon-McKenna , with the most house points this term. Each member of the team received a prize.
