Over the past six weeks, our school ran a Paired Reading activity that brought together students from Primary 4/5 and Primary 6/7, inviting them to read with one another.
The children looked forward to each reading session, excited to share stories and spend time with their new reading buddies. They enjoyed the chance to read aloud, listen and discuss their favourite parts of the books. The activity was not only a lot of fun but also incredibly beneficial, helping to build confidence, improve fluency and foster a love of reading across all age groups.
