P6/7 S.T.E.M Investigation
We were very busy in P6/7 earlier in the week completing another S.T.E.M Investigation, this time exploring how boats are able to float. We explored different designs of boats before designing our own. After making them, using tinfoil, we then put them to the test in a large tub of water. We slowly added weights to each boat until it sank, recording how much weight it held. We explored the qualities and features of the winning design and discussed what we would change if we were to redesign our boat again.
Lots of creative designs and fantastic engineering skills displayed from all the pupils!
