Our school football team travelled to Dromintee today to take part in the 2nd round of The Malachy Mc Geeney small schools tournament. We had a great morning playing teams from Jonesborough PS, St. Laurence O’Toole’s, Belleek, St. Malachy’s Ballymoyer, St. Michael’s Clady, St. Oliver’s, Carrickrovaddy and St. Teresa’s, Tullyherron. There was some fantastic display of football on the day, with some great scores from Liam, Rory, Ronan & Mia. The children were delighted to meet All Ireland Champion Aaron McKay on the day for a photo.
Congratulations to Jonesborough P.S who won this section of the tournament and we wish them all the best in the final.
