National Lottery's People Project - Crisis Cafe
Crisis Cafe CIC is a youth mental health service in Newry which offers easily accessible individual group and peer-based support to young people. They have grown rapidly in the last three years and have moved into their own premises at River House 41 The Mall in Newry.
Crisis Cafe have been shortlisted in the National Lottery's People’s Project and their Social Bytes project is one of 5 projects with a chance of winning £70.000.
The winner is chosen by public vote, and we are hoping that everyone can get behind us and give us their vote.
Voting opened 15th May and closes on Friday 26th May at 12 noon.
The project with the most votes shall win up to £70,000. This would make a substantial difference to what they can deliver for young people.
Social Bytes is a project that addresses food and digital poverty whilst offering mental health support. It is a safe space where young people can access digital technology, Wi-Fi, printing facilities, literacy, numeracy support, get a complimentary warm snack and drink, connect with other young people and access mental health support if needed.
