Breakfast Club
Our popular Breakfast Club operates from 8.15am – 9.00am Monday - Friday.
The club caters for children P1 - P7 who require supervision and breakfast until the school day begins. The breakfast club offers a healthy breakfast of cereal, milk, pancakes, toast, low fat spread and fresh fruit daily. We have created a little oasis where the children have healthy food and a calm start to the day, and as a result they can concentrate harder, work better and they are in school on time.
The main purpose of a breakfast club is to provide a safe, secure environment before school, where children can have a healthy breakfast with their friends,’ says Kate Price, corporate social responsibility manager for Kellogg’s. They also play an important role in providing before-school childcare for families where parents work or need to get other children to different schools or childcare settings. The school is delighted to have been awarded a grant of £1000, which allows us to keep the daily cost at £1.00.
Children can play after eating breakfast. We have lots of activities such as board games, colouring and drawing to keep everyone busy.
So... come along and set yourself up for the day!
