St Michael's Primary, Newtownhamilton

Principal's Welcome

On behalf of the children, staff and school governors I welcome you to St Michael's Primary School website.

In St Michael's we aim to create a warm, safe, caring and conducive environment in which our children can learn, achieve, explore and succeed.

St Michael's is at the heart of Newtownhamilton in the Parish of Lower Creggan - a rural community steeped in history. We have solid links with St Michael's GAC and our community as a whole.

We believe in respect for ourselves and others, ensuring that our strong Catholic Ethos shines brightly throughout our school.

We focus strongly on teaching and learning, working with our community and sustained improvement, to ensure that the children at St Michael’s receive the best possible education.
