Youth Speak Competition

A number of our Key Stage 2 children entered the Youth Speak Public Speaking Competition this month. The competition is being run be the Department of Environment NI, to raise awareness of current waste issues. The school could only enter one speaker or duet and so held finals last week. The topic was, 'Adventures of a Waste Warrior'. The competition was fantastic and the standard of speeches and presentation was outstanding. In the end, Kyla and Tara from P7 were chosen to go forward to represent the school. Well done all.
