Yesterday, the 11th June, was a very special day for nine of our P7 pupils.
They received the gift of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation.
The ceremony took place in our own St. Michael's Church in Newtown ...making it a truly local community celebration for Oisin, Ethan, Vicki, Kiril, Danny, Cara, Cahal, Alex and Ryan.
Our thanks go out to Rev. Fr. Tremer our confirmed our nine Confirmandi.
Many thanks also to Janice who sang and played beautifully during the ceremony.
St. Michael's are so proud of our pupils for their preparation and involvement in their Confirmation Mass.
